Britain's Got Talent spoilers! Drag act La Voix and her big gay band take on judges

La Voix (Britain's Got Talent)

Drag act La Voix and her Big Gay Band are one of the stars of this year's Britain's Got Talent.

But it's not the first time that La Voix, real name Chris Dennis, has tried out for the show.

He was previously part of a drag queen singing group called The Kit Kat dolls who made it through to the live shows back in 2007.

But the band were booted out of the show after newspaper reports alleged that some of the singers were "caught offering sex for sale," the Daily Star newspaper reports.

The group's lead singer Vanilla Lush and bandmates Alekssandra and Toni were all involved in the so-called "vice shame scandal."

Chris has since left the group behind to start his own act, accompanied by London's Gay Big Band, an orchestra made up of a 17 piece jazz band from all over London.

They made a big impact on the judges at their audition with their unique and fabulous performance, with Simon Cowell saying: “Love the attitude. I like you.”

A show source said of the La Voix's past experience on the show: “There is nothing to stop La Voix entering the competition with a new act.”

Britain's Got Talent 2014 starts this weekend on ITV from 7:15PM on Saturday night.
