X Factor judges 2014: Alesha Dixon to move from Britain's Got Talent?

Alesha Dixon could be set to switch from Britain's Got Talent to The X Factor.

The former Mis-Teeq singer has reportedly been in talks about jumping from one of Simon Cowell's shows to the other this year.

Alesha had previously been rumoured for a role on The X Factor back in 2011 but instead joined BGT alongside David Walliams.

“Alesha has been seriously considered as the fourth judge. She’s part of the Syco family and Simon is a huge fan," a source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper today.

But according to the tabloid, producers worry about impacting BGT's ratings by removing Alesha from the panel, which has remained the same now for three years.

The source added: “It’s a very settled line-up with her, Simon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams, and there’s a reluctance to needlessly break that up.”

However there is some good news for the prospective move with Cheryl Cole giving it the thumbs up.

“Cheryl and Alesha have always got on well so there are no problems there," the source said.

So far only Cheryl and Simon have been confirmed for this year's judging panel ahead of the first filmed auditions in the summer.
