Alesha Dixon has warned she's going to be a tougher judge on Britain's Got Talent 2014.
It's the third series on the panel for Alesha and she admitted that she had some regrets about last series after watching it back on the telly.
Speaking ahead of the return of BGT this Saturday night, Alesha: "Am I tougher? I suppose you could say that.
"I just think I’ve made more of decision that I’m going to go with my gut, my instinct on whether I like an act and whether I think the country will like it or whether it would be something the Royal Family would want to watch.
"I’ve tried not to be swayed by the audience or the other judges this time, although David often sticks up for the underdogs and tries to get you to say yes. I have been tougher this year and have been swayed less than last time."
Alesha confessed that her new attitude was in part down to having some doubts about the acts she said yes to last year.
"Well one thing I noticed when watching the show back at home on the TV with my friends and family last year, was that there were some acts who I said yes to that when I saw them back on TV, I was like, ‘why the hell did I do that’!" she said.
The new mum added: "The thing is during the auditions you get caught up in the moment, whether it’s the audience getting behind an act or the other judges really rooting for someone and that can sometimes sway you. So, looking back there were some acts I probably shouldn’t have said yes to last year!"
Britain's Got Talent starts this weekend on ITV.
