Britain's Got Talent 2014 judge Simon Cowell reckons this year's opener is "fantastic".
It was confirmed yesterday when Britain's Got Talent is back on TV with a start date of April 12, just over a week away.
Simon, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden will all be back on the panel this year and this week Simon teased the first Britain’s Got Talent 2014 episode, branding it “fantastic”.
Simon revealed the final touches were being put together on the opening show, tweeting last night: "I just watched the first cut of Britains Got Talent. It is fantastic."
Amongst the usual dancers and singers on the show, this year's wannabes also include a supposed dancing owl and one act that brought back even Simon Cowell (close) to tears
As the show enters its eighth series a new twist has been introduced: The very special golden buzzer.
The new format to the auditions stage sees a fifth, golden buzzer added right in the centre of the judges’ desk.
Pressing the special buzzer will see the act on stage sent immediately through to the live shows regardless of what the other judges think, giving them a guaranteed spot in the week of live semi-finals in May.
Britain's Got Talent starts at 7:15PM on ITV on April 12.
