Itching to know just when Britain's Got Talent 2014 will start? Well David Walliams has let it slip... a bit!
Not saying more than we already really knew or could've guessed, the comic has revealed that the Britain's Got Talent 2014 start date is set for some time in April.
The new series will run its auditions throughout that month and into May before the week of live semi-final shows sometime towards the end of May.
David told Radio 2: “The life shows (are) in May and I think the show is on TV in April.”
The most likely start date is April 12 as this would follow the last instalment of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway the previous weekend on April 5.
However we should stress that as it stands nothing is confirmed by ITV and the official BGT start date won't be announced for some weeks yet.
The Beeb moved their singing contestant this Spring to begin in January in a bid to avoid going up against the ratings juggernaut that is Britain's Got Talent.
And so far - together with a new coaching line up - it's worked out well with ratings up compared to last year.
The lack of a clash will also no doubt help boost BGT too which will now be facing much weaker competition on BBC One on Saturday nights.
