Ant and Dec have hinted that they could quit Britain's Got Talent in a bid to pursue a new career.
The Geordie telly hosts have been fronting our Saturday night telly for years now, from BGT to Red Or Black, I'm A Celebrity to Push The Button and, back for a new series this weekend, Saturday Night Takeaway.
But Ant confessed recently he and Dec want to get away from live TV with other projects, including work on a sitcom.
"We've talked a lot about the future," he admitted. "We love I'm A Celebrity Britain's Got Talent and Saturday Night Takeaway, but they're all live shows.
"The difference between doing a live show and a sitcom is that a sitcom can live on. If you get it well, it can leave a legacy whereas most of our live work never gets repeated because it's final, it's done and you start again."
Speaking to the Radio Times, Ant added: "So we're developing a silent comedy idea at the moment.
"It will take a couple of years and we might never get there but it's the way we'd like to go."
There's also the possibility of the pair aiming for a return to kids TV, with Dec saying recently: "It's a real shame there's not a Saturday morning kids' show on ITV or BBC. There should be one.
"We talked about it with ITV and said we'd love to get involved as we really miss it."
As well as the possibility of ditching live telly, Ant also revealed the pair want to try and crack the US again after their failed attempt a few years ago.
Ant and Dec had launched a US show Wanna Bet! on ABC but it was quickly axed over poor ratings and claims viewers couldn't understand the pair, lasting just the one series.
Blaming the network for getting behind the show, Ant teased: "We probably will try our luck in America again."
