The Britain's Got Talent 2014 judges were supposedly left worried by an egg act at auditions last week.
The panel panicked (apparently) following the egging of Simon Cowell live on last year's show.
Violinist Natalie Holt, a member of the on stage orchestra in Richard and Adam Johnson’s performance, lobbed a box of eggs at the panel during the live semi-finals in "protest".
She later claimed her act was against Simon and his “dreadful influence on the music industry”.
Last week in London saw Simon and fellow judges David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon get a mini fright over fears that the same thing was about to happen again.
But fortunately for the four piece it was just another BGT 'character' who was singing a self-penned track about their love of eggs.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper today: “There was genuine panic that he would suddenly pull out a box of free range and start throwing them at the judges.
"But they need not have worried. He was just a joke act and not a vigilante.”
Britain's Got Talent 2014 will start in the Spring on ITV.
