A baby act impressed the Britain's Got Talent 2014 judges last week, just a day before Simon Cowell became a dad himself.
Unique dance troupe Sling Swing sees a group of women dancing with their young children, who are strapped to them in a sling.
Dancing to Let’s Get Ready To Rhumble - which no doubt pleased Ant and Dec - the group impressed Simon although he did admit there was a rather obvious problem with the act.
“I’ve never seen an act like this on Britain’s Got Talent," he said at first. “It must work as none of these babies are crying.
However Simon added: "But what happens in a year’s time — do you have another baby?”
The performance prompted Simon's fellow judges to encourage the music mogul on stage to give the swinging a go himself.
“Simon, this is something you are going to have to get used to," Amanda teased. “I do dances with my children but I would love to try this. Normally the children try to escape and run around and it is just me shaking maracas, but this is great. It helps you lose baby weight and keeps you healthy.”
But Simon refused to get up on stage much to the annoyance of producers.
“Simon was thrilled with the act but looked visibly uncomfortable when it looked like he was going to have to get involved," a supposed show source told The Sun newspaper (paid link) today. “The producers were chomping at the bit, hoping he’d get up on stage.
“But despite a huge chorus of boos, he dug his feet in."
Britain's Got Talent 2014 airs on ITV in the Spring.
