Britain's Got Talent 2014 judge David Walliams has said he plans to be more serious on the show this year.
The comedian has become known for his constant humour on the series but that's all going to change.
"I've tried to be serious. At the end of the day, I like to make jokes but we are trying to find a star," David said. "There have been people that have become international stars on this how. you've got to take the judging seriously.
"Otherwise it's a bit rude to the people on the stage."
But with Simon Cowell becoming a dad it seems that the jokes are just writing themselves for David.
"Someone comes on to the stage to audition and Simon will ask questions like, are you married, single and I'll ask 'Made anyone pregnant?'" he teased.
Last week saw David have to take on auditions without Simon as he, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon completed the final round of try outs in London as a trio, and it was tough going.
David said: "It was quite hard. The audience just love him [Simon] being there, because he is the star maker. He's the one that can make someone's career."
Britain's Got Talent 2014 airs on ITV in the Spring.
