David Walliams has become the third judge to use the new golden buzzer on Britain's Got Talent 2014.
The brand new Golden Buzzer was pressed for the penultimate time this series on the furst day of the London auditions yesterday.
The new twist has seen each judge given the opportunity to press the Golden Buzzer once during the auditions, giving the act on stage an automatic place in the live shows without any further auditions.
David tweeted: "I just pressed the GOLDEN BUZZER! #BGT"
Previously Simon pressed the buzzer for a singer in Manchester. The contestant certainly tugged at the music mogul’s heartstrings as their emotional audition saw him reach for the special button.
Earlier during filming at Birmingham, Amanda Holden had become the first judge to press the golden buzzer for an impressive salsa dancing act.
The act, unlike anything ever seen on the show before, amazed the audience with their nimble routine.
Simon – being Simon – however, did buzz the act early on in their performance. Although he did later apologise, saying ‘I am sorry I buzzed too early’, which Amanda jokingly took him to task on, saying it was ‘premature of him.’
It leaves only Alesha Dixon to make use of the button ahead of filming concluding this week.
The BGT auditions will air on ITV in the Spring.
