Becoming a daddy has put Simon Cowell in a rather good mood on Britain's Got Talent this year.
But hopefuls auditioning for the show this month shouldn't be too relaxed as the music mogul is still as as harsh as ever on the panel.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper today, David Walliams said: “Simon is definitely in good spirits.
“But he has still not lost his knack for being a really tough judge. It is not like everyone is sailing through because he is in a good mood. He is still harsh.”
The comedian became a dad himself last May with wife Lara Stone and reckons that Simon will make a great father.
"It is one of those things that when it happens you embrace it. You might think you will be this kind of dad or that kind of dad, but until it happens you don’t know," David explained.
He continued: “But I know Simon is great with kids. We have a lot on the show and he is superb. He is brilliant at talking to the kids and is very warm with them.
"I think he will be a great dad and he will really enjoy it.”
