The girl who pelted Simon Cowell with eggs on Britain's Got Talent 2013 has apologised for her actions.
Violinist Natalie Holt had previously auditioned for the show as part of four piece Raven Quartet.
Last night saw Natalie on stage behind finalist Richard and Adam as part of a backing group of singers and musicians as the Welsh duo performed The Impossible Dream.
But half way through, Natalie stepped in front of the duo and threw eggs at the panel, aiming at Simon Cowell.
"I want to apologise to Richard and Adam for overshadowing their performance," Natalie said in a statement. I’ve never done anything like this before and in hindsight I have realised it was a silly thing to do."
A spokesperson for Britain's Got Talent commented: "During tonight’s show an incident took place during the finale of Richard and Adam’s performance.
"Natalie Holt was part of the backing group for their performance and as a result of her misguided actions the police were called. However, we have decided to take no further action at this stage."
Richard and Adam went on to finish third in the competition, and weren't too put off by the surprise addition to their performance.
They said: "It’s disappointing that someone tried to sabotage our performance but we’re proud that we made it to the end of our song. Thanks to everyone for their support. We’ve had a great time."
