The start date for the Britain's Got Talent 2013 live shows has been confirmed as May 27.
The auditions are still continuing to air on ITV, but by the end of the month the final 45 acts will have been chosen and will perform live in the hope of winning the public vote and securing an all important place in the live grand final.
Stripped across the week the live semi-finals start on Monday, May 27 with nine acts performing in each live semi-final for a chance of winning a life changing £250,000 and a spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.
While the judges - Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams - will be on hand to offer their opinions, the viewing public will vote for their favourite and the act with the highest number of public votes automatically goes through to the live grand final. The two runner-up acts will then face the judges who will pick their favourite to go through to the live shows.
The live shows will air on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7:30PM, with a separate results show from 9:30PM.
However details about the fifth semi-final and the grand final, which will air the week after, have yet to be confirmed yet.
