The fifth instalment of auditions from the ITV show interested more than 10 million from 7:45PM, the highest viewing figures of the series to date.
The one hour long show saw more of the usual dancers and singers, as well as impressionists and a swearing granny.
Including those who caught up on ITV+1, an average audience of 10.9m million watched the hour long episode, peaking with a huge audience of 12.3 million, making the show the most watched for some four years.
There's not such good news for The Voice UK however, which ended its weekly rises with a decline of some 600,000 viewers on last Saturday.
The first of the battle rounds between 8:35PM and 9:35PM averaged 7.4 million viewers and peaked with just over 8 million.
No doubt producers will be hoping the decrease is nothing more than a blip, rather than a sign that the format changes have done little to keep viewers interested once the auditions are over.
Britain's Got Talent 2013 continues next weekend on ITV while The Voice airs again tonight on BBC One.
