Britain's Got Talent 2013: Simon Cowell's weird carrot craving put to the test

Simon Cowell (Britain's Got Talent 2013)

Simon Cowell's weird backstage habits are no secret on Britain's Got Talent 2013, but apparently they do make sense.

From bubble baths in the middle of filming to tanks of oxygen on standby and booster seats on stage, we've heard plenty about Simon's weird ways of living.

And it's no shock to hear that his diet is just as bizarre, with the music mogul flying in special baby carrots all the way from Singapore.

But despite the cost, Simon insists they're the best carrots in the world and proves it on tomorrow night's More Talent in a blind taste test with Stephen Mulhern.

The BGT boss explains: "You don’t want the ones that are just cut up by a machine you want the baby ones.”

In a taste test against regular carrots, Stephen gets Simon, David and Ant to close their eyes, taste both, and select which they think are the ‘special’ ones.

Whilst Simon of course gets it right, Ant gets it wrong.

Meanwhile, In this week’s Ant and Dec’s Fairground Fantasy, the duo are tested in a strongman challenge. Using a ‘Test Your Strength’ machine, they take it in turns to try and hit the target with a hammer, but who will prove to be the master rater?

Britain's Got More Talent airs on Saturday night from 8:45PM on ITV2.
