Britain's Got Talent 2013 star Asanda Jezile has said she hopes to become the next Rihanna.
The 11-year-old was seen performing the US singer's hit Diamonds during the latest audition show at the weekend.
After her successful performance, Simon told her: "I’ve never seen anyone who’s got such amazing stage presence for an 11 year old. I mean seriously, seriously good."
Speaking to the official ITV Got Talent website this week, the youngster said: "I want to be like Beyonce and Rihanna because they work hard and have a fantastic talent. They are very powerful in their jobs. I went on BGT to show people what I can do."
She went on: "My parents are really happy and very pleased and proud. They are very supportive which is really helpful. My friends have all been saying well done.
"I was really amazed and happy when I watched my performance. I was very, very pleased. I didn't expect the reaction from the Judges. I taught myself to dance from watching music videos. I just like to sing and dance" "
And Asanda's proud parents couldn't be happier, with dad Lennox adding to the website: "We realised Asanda could sing when she was two or three years old. She used to dance and sing along to the television. We are so, so proud of her, me and her mother."
"We are also artists so she has learned from us. She copied us when she was younger. Sometimes we all do gigs together. I was in the Lion King from 1998 to 2008. Asanda loved to watch but she wants to be a pop star."
But Asanda's audition caused complaints, with some viewers claiming it was an "inappropriate" song choice for such a young girl.
Never the less, with four yeses, Asanda is through to the next round.
Britain's Got Talent continues next weekend on ITV.
