Britain's Got Talent 2013 hopeful Asanda Jezile has seen complaints over her audition at the weekend.

The 11-year-old was seen speaking to cameras about already being a diva before performing Rihanna hit Diamonds.

We have to say that the whole performance did feel a little uncomfortable, especially the comments towards the end.

Simon compared the youngster to Rihanna herself, saying: "I’ve never seen anyone who’s got such amazing stage presence for an 11 year old. I mean seriously, seriously good."

And Amanda added: “I mean I kept laughing because it’s just ridiculous. And you’ve got all the moves and the little glances.”

The other judges were equally positive as Asanda went through to the next round.

But some viewers have complained over the "inappropriate" song choice for the audition, and it's not the first sort of complaints this series.

Another 11-year-old singer, Arixsanda Libantino, also caused controversy after singing Jennifer Hudson song One Night Only.

Speaking to the Daily Star today, a spokesperson for Britain's Got Talent commented that Asanda’s song choice was her and her parents' own choice.

Asanda's dad Lennox, himself a professional singer in the West End, defended the song selection.

He told the newspaper today: “I know she is young but she is very mature for her age and very confident.”

Britain's Got Talent continues next weekend on ITV.
