Britain's Got Talent 2013: Luminites are already second favourites

Luminites (Britain's Got Talent 2013)

Group The Luminites have entered the Britain's Got Talent 2013 betting as the 8/1 second favourites according to Ladbrokes.

The band have now become the best backed BGT entrant so far this year after their appearance, however shadow dancers Attraction remain the hot 3/1 favourites.

Last week saw BGT judge Alesha Dixon admit she had a soft spot for the Hungarian performers, who appeared in the first audition episode of the series.

Saturday's latest installment meanwhile also saw Welsh singer Robbie Kennedy wow the judges with a cover of Iris, which has since shot up the charts. Ladbrokes have now installed him at 12/1 to win the £250,000 prize, while early pace-setter Arixsanda Libantino slides out to 16/1.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "The Lumintes have lit up this year's BGT betting. They have definitely switched TV punters on and it wouldn't be a surprise to see them challenge Attraction for favouritism soon."
