Singer Robbie Kennedy wows the Britain's Got Talent 2013 judges tonight, having already been touted as a possible winner.
The 22-year-old bucks the trend in this evening's show after a string of unsuccessful singer-songwriters.
Simon moans: “If I hear another ‘I’ve been dumped’ song today I’m literally going to throw myself off a bridge.”
Robbie, a bricklayer from South Wales, doesn't get off to a much better start with his audition as Simon stops him and requests he sings another song.
After his performance of Goo Goo Dolls hit Iris however it's a different story.
Alesha Dixon gushes: “Robbie, you are so likeable. My heart is pounding. You just knocked me out. You have been blessed with a true gift.”
Amanda Holden adds: “Robbie your voice is outstanding. So do any of your work mates know how talented you are? Well I can’t wait. You are absolutely going to knock them dead when this goes out on the telly. You were brilliant.”
And David Walliams agrees: “The contrast between your amazing voice and the acoustic guitar playing worked fantastically. It was really, really stunning and it blew us all away, so well done.”
But will it be enough to impress hard to please Simon Cowell?
