Francine Lewis has hit back at her critics after her audition on Britain's Got Talent 2013 at the weekend.
Francine sailed through to the next round on Saturday night's auditions show after giving the judges her take on the likes of Stacey Solomon, Cheryl Cole and Katie Price.
The mum-of-two proved a hit with the judges, with Simon Cowell telling her: “I really do think we are looking at a future star.”
But Francine, who describes herself as an "Impressionist, Model and TV presenter" on her official website, has a long list of credits which include shows on all of ITV, BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky.
One fan quipped: "Recognised her straight away. Is this 'Britain's Got Comebacks' now?"
Speaking to us this week, Francine branded such comments "unfair".
"I've been out of it for such a long time and it's a show, , it's a variety show, there's no where [else] for people like me," she said. "I have gone and stood on stage and did what I do best, it's a competition and there's a different generation out there."
Francine went on: "I did a show last year called Very Important People on Channel 4 but I was in two episodes and I was really an extra part in it.
"It gave me the taste to come back because I've been out of it for so long."
