Britain's Got Talent 2013 star Jordan O’Keefe has defended his dad against hate after Saturday's show.
We saw Jordan tell how he fell out with his dad over his passion for music.
"I want to do something with my life, I want to become a singer," he explained before his audition. "I went to college, but my dad changed my course from music to business.
"I was raging. We fell out massively. I really, really love my dad, but I'm here to prove him wrong."
After performing One Direction hit Little Things, Simon was quick to praise the Northern Irish teen, saying: "I absolutely loved it."
But after airing at the weekend, Jordan's audition caused his dad to face more than a few angry comments.
However Jordan, who now works for his dad's business, was quick to jump to his defence.
"My dad was lovely about the audition. He wanted me to do well. At college it was more to do with him thinking I wouldn’t have a career if I did music," Jordan explained. “He said, “At least, if you do business you’ll have a career’. But when I came home from the audition he was delighted.
“He was looking out for my best interest throughout the whole thing – he’s not a bad guy.”
Britain's Got Talent 2013 continues this weekend on ITV.
