The Britain's Got Talent 2013 judges have chosen this year's finalists, but not without some tears!
Thousands applied and auditioned for the new series, which will see one lucky act walk away with a massive £500,000 cash prize in a grand final, and the usual spot on the Royal Variety Show.
There were auditions in Cardiff, London, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow throughout January and February with all sorts of acts going before the panel in the hope of getting a yes.
Only a few hundred have made the cut after showing off their talents in front of this year's Britain's Got Talent judges, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden.
The panel had the tough job of cutting the successful acts down to just 45 at the weekend for the live semi-finals later on in the year.
After a day of deliberations, David Walliams revealed on Twitter: "Us BGT judges are still struggling to decide..."
He later added: “Lots of tears. It’s so hard saying no to people. Even @AleshaOfficial was crying… x”
But there wasn't any tears from Simon, with David quipping: “No. I am not sure he ever has!”
Meanwhile, Amanda Holden tweeted: “Had a fab day filming with @AleshaOfficial @SimonCowell @davidwalliams – decisions made! Some lives will be changing soon! X”
She added: “We’ve done it! We have chosen our finalists! Such an emotional day. Missing you already @AleshaOfficial @davidwalliams @SimonCowell x”
Auditions for Britain’s Got Talent 2013 will air on ITV next month, with David tweeting that the launch date was currently set for April 13.
The BGT live show finalists short list will be revealed in May, with the live shows reportedly set for the first week of June.
