The latest round of Britain's Got Talent 2013 auditions are still struggling to attract variety it seems.
BGT 2013 judges David Walliams, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell kicked off auditions for the show this week in Wales.
But 14 of the 15 acts to try out in one session were musicians.
And according to the Daily Star today, Simon wasn't happy.
"Cowell took the producers to one side and warned them that they are not making another singing show like The X Factor," a source told the newspaper. “Britain’s Got Talent is all about variety so he demanded a lot more magicians, dancers and comics to spice things up.
“Cowell is under serious pressure to get this right after The X Factor’s disastrous ratings.
“Being back on the panel himself is an added pressure because he doesn’t want to be seen on a flop show.”
However one singer who did impress was Welsh local 22-year-old Robbie from Cwmbra, who wowed with Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls.
Simon told the singer: “I think we’ve found our winner.
“You’re what I’ve been waiting for, you’ve absolutely got it.”
And Alesha Dixon added: “You’re so likeable, my heart is pounding.”
However despite singers dominating the auditions, and have also been some standout variety acts, including a stunt diving troop.
