Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams has said he wants Simon Cowell to give away a £1 million prize next year.
The comic will be back alongside Simon, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon when the show returns next spring.
The foursome will be starting auditions in Wales next month, and David reckons boosting the prize to £1,000,000 will bring out the talent.
Last year's prize of £500,000 was the biggest ever given in a UK talent competition, being five times the previous £100,000 cash prize.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror this week, David said: “The most important thing is we find really talented people, because with those shows no matter how much amusement the judges are providing, or how fantastic [show hosts] Ant and Dec are being, you need to find someone at the end of it who’s going to have a career afterwards.
“Those shows require a lot of a viewer’s time so at the end someone’s got to have won something."
He explained: "At least on Britain’s Got Talent you win half a million pounds, which isn’t bad, is it? I think Simon should make it a million, round it up.
"I’m not interested in paying up though. It should definitely be his money.”
We're sure Simon won't have a problem with that...
