Britain’s Got Talent duo Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli have bagged their own telly show, which airs tonight on ITV1.
The Opera singing duo wowed the judges and audiences on the Britain’s Got Talent live shows earlier this year, finishing as runners up to Ashleigh and Pudsey.
The pair were quickly signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco record label and spent the summer busy recording material for their debut album, out now.
Tonight's one-off hour long special will see the duo recording tracks for their album, including the pair’s singing lessons with Pavarotti’s voice coach, Leone Magiera.
He said of the duo: “Jonathan and Charlotte are very kind persons, very nice persons and they pay attention to my words.”
The documentary captures the touching moment Jonathan visits Pavarotti’s tomb and finds he shares a birthday with the legend’s son Ricardo, who died in infancy.
Jonathan has ambitions as big as voice, saying: “Having the success and voice Pavarotti had is the ultimate goal – but it would be a very tough job.”
The show will also see the inside story of how Charlotte’s support helped Jonathan put his demons aside in his long battle with debilitating bouts of depression, enabling him to step out of the dark shadows of suicidal thoughts and take his place alongside her in the limelight.
Jonathan and Charlotte airs tonight (Friday, November 2) on ITV1 at 9PM
