Big Brother 2012 presenter Brian Dowling has been left shaken after getting mugged outside his flat in London.
Speaking to The Sun, the Big Brother host revealed how he was forced into an alleyway by knifepoint before having his wallet and phone stolen by two thugs.
"They emptied the contents of my wallet, went through my pockets and took my phone," he explained to the newspaper. "I was terrified. I live in a lovely area, it was only nine at night and was only 30 seconds from my apartment.
"You don't expect it at that time of night, or on a quiet residential street." The shattered star, 33, told how the two thugs manhandled him into an alley.
Brian, who now fronts Big Brother on Channel 5 after winning the show in 2002, added: "I felt physically sick when I got home."
Police are investigating the incident, with any witnesses being advised to call Lambeth police station.
In a statement, a spokesman said only: "At around 9pm on Wednesday we were called to reports of a man in his 30s being robbed. No arrests have been made at present."
