Big Brother 2012 producer Katy Smith has called on "interesting characters" to audition for this year's show.
Big Brother 2012 auditions start this weekend, and Katy only wants those who can be both entertaining and themselves to apply!
“We’ll be looking for interesting characters, people who have something to say and naturally stand out from the crowd," the Endemol exec told the Daily Star today.
She continued: “If you leave us wanting to know more about you than that’s a brilliant start, but if someone runs out of things to say in the first five minutes, then they probably can’t entertain a viewing audience for an entire series.
“No one should put on an act to impress us. You can’t keep up an act for a long time and the housemates who have been most popular are the ones that are genuine.
“We’re looking for people who redefine what it is to be a Big Brother housemate. So surprise us!
“To win, you need to make the public fall in love with you and that means sticking your neck out and making things happen in the house.”
