US actor Charlie Sheen could be making his way to the Celebrity Big Brother house today, it has been rumoured. The former Two And A Half Men star has reportedly been spotted at Heathrow's airport, after flying in from the states to take part in Channel 5's new look show.
It was previously reported that Channel 5 had offered the star a whopping £6 million deal to take part in the series. A source said: "It would be unbelievable. A producer’s dream.
“No-one would want to miss the chance of seeing what he’s up to and hear the wacky things he’s saying. And let’s face it, he’s been saying some crazy stuff recently.”
However his rep denied the suggestion at the time.
But a cryptic tweet from Esltree Studios, where the Big Brother house is based, said: "Today is the day #bbuk #winning"
Sheen hit the headlines earlier this year after having a 'breakdown' which saw him axed from his US sitcom. The star, who has struggled with drink and drugs - a reoccurring trend in this year's line up, was reportedly demanding more than £1 million an episode for the show.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 would only say: "Big Brother execs are in talks with a number of celebrities about appearing on the series but we’re not confirming any names at the moment."
Celebrity Big Brother 2011 launches tonight on Channel 5 at 9PM.
