Wife to the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sally Bercow is set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight, after convincing her husband with a "saucy holiday". The Sun reports that Sally's husband John had "begged" her not to go in, over fears it'd harm his career.

Sally, who previously denied the reports, is set to be paid £100,000 for her stint on the new series on Channel 5.

An insider told the tabloid: "Sally managed to use her wiles on John in Devon. He eventually gave in, though he made her promise not to say or do anything that might harm him.

"She agreed, but producers have said it is down to her to watch her tongue."

Sally's spokesperson Max Clifford said: "Sally knows she is going to be criticised by the Establishment - that was one of the big attractions for her to do the show. She and her husband totally disagree about her participation.

"He thinks the show is completely dreadful. They disagree on lots of things, but they love and respect each other."

Other celebrities set to enter tonight include X Factor twins Jedward and former The Only Way Is Essex stunner.

Celebrity Big Brother launches at 9PM tonight on Channel 5.
