Celebrity Big Brother 2011 star Amy Childs has said that she doesn't see herself as being famous - saying she doesn't even think she's a celebrity! Speaking to new! magazine this week, Amy added that leaving The Only Way Is Essex for Big Brother was a tough choice.
"I want people to know that it wasn't an easy decision," she said. "I've been feeling quite panicky, wondering if I've done the right thing. It’s going to be really hard when it’s back on TV and I haven't done anything"
But the red haired beauty insisted she still loved the show - and would definitely be tuning in when series three starts next month
Amy explained: "You know what, I'll always be wondering what I'd be doing if I was still on TOWIE. I’m excited about what I'm doing but I can’t announce it until later on in the year. But yeah, I'm really going to miss TOWIE. I'll still watch it."
Speaking about Celebrity Big Brother, Amy still refused to confirm the reports, saying: "I'm sworn to secrecy! Nothing's confirmed yet, You'll have to wait and see!"
However she added: "100 per cent I would do it! I've been asked to do a lot of great TV shows which are all good.
"I would be so nervous. But I think once I got in there I'd be fine. I'd worry about stuff like who I'd be sharing a room with"
And she said she was shocked to find out she was favourite to win, as were we!
"I know! How funny. My dad's friend rang me to tell me. I can't believe it, I don’t' even think of myself as a celebrity," she said.
Other stars set to enter the house later this week include X Factor twins Jedward, Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson and US actress Tara Reid.
The full interview is out now in new! magazine.
