Celebrity Big Brother bosses reckon Kerry Katona and mum Sue will be 'TV gold'

Kerry Katona and her mum Sue have ne again been linked to Celebrity Big Brother 2011, with telly bosses reportedly hoping the pair will be TV gold because volatile relationship. It was claimed last month that Kerry had been offered £250,000 to take part, while her mum was offered £50,000.

The pair are famed for their turbulent relationship and blazing rows and Channel 5 execs are said to be hoping they'll live up to their reputation later this month, when Celebrity Big Brother kicks off on the channel for the first time.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "Their screaming matches are the stuff of legend. With these two in the house it will probably shake.

"When they go at one another, it's like a couple of screaming fishwives. 'Big Brother' has become legendary for its battles and these two could spark some of the best ever."

The pair's relationship has always been rocky, with Kerry claiming that mum Sue had introduced to her illegal substances when she was just 14.

Kerry previously said about Sue: "She's a nasty piece of work. The only peace I'll get from that woman is when she's dead."

Meanwhile it was also reported this week that mother-of-four Kerry - who has battled drink and drug addiction in the past - has gone on a crash Celebrity Big brother diet in order to look good on the TV show - and next to TOWIE star Amy Childs, also linked to the series.

A pal revealed: "Kerry is worried about looking so old and frumpy next to Amy. She's put herself on a strict diet of salads and low-fat soups to get to a size 8."

Other stars rumoured to be taking part in the show - which kicks off on August 18 at 9PM - include Jedward and Bobby Brown.
