Charlie Sheen's management team have denied reports suggesting he had agreed to a £6 million deal to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house later this month. The Daily Star claimed this morning the former Two And A Half Men Actor would lead the celeb line up for this year's series.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter however, a representative for the troubled TV actor dismissed the reports, saying Sheen will instead by staring in new US sitcom Anger Management, inspired by the 2003 film starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson.
“I chose Anger Management because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept,” he said in a statement.
“It also provides me with real ownership in the series, a certain amount of creative control and the chance to be back in business with one of my favourite movie producers of all time, Joe Roth.”
