New Big Brother presenter Brian Dowling has warned this year's hopeful housemates he'll be tougher than Davina when it comes to their interviews on the show. Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday today, Brian vowed to not brush over any goings on in the house!
Brian will take over from Davina McCall as host when the hit reality show returns on Channel 5 in August.
33-year-old Brian warned: "I want to be tougher than Davina with the contestants. I want to address things they’ve done. I won’t brush over stuff.
“If housemates have behaved in a way viewers don’t like, they need to explain it. And if someone’s been two-faced or betrayed a friend in the house they need to be held to account. Davina was brilliant at being compassionate but I want to be a lot tougher with them.”
And Brian confessed he was both dreading and looking forward to the launch show in three weeks time.
“The adrenaline will help me with the nerves. And I’ll be thrilled that the show is back bigger than ever," he said.
