Brian Dowling seems more than ecstatic to be hosting Big Brother from next month, so much so that he just can't stop talking about it - no wonder why Channel 5 won't tell him which celebs are going in! Speaking to New! magazine this week, the former Big Brother winner confessed he'd find it hard not to be biased...
Asked whether he'd be cruel or kind to the evicted housemates, Brian said: "It depends what they've done in the house. If someone's done something really absurd and needs to be put in their place, then of course, it's time to step up. I might be afraid of giving Charlie sheen a piece of my mind, though!"
And Brian said his previously experience flying with Ryan Air as an air steward would help him deal with the rowdy eviction crowds live on national telly.
"I used to fly for four years, so I'm good in situations like that and can stay calm. Nothing like that really scares me. I've also done a lot of live television over the years."
Brian also revealed he'd be wearing a lot less black than his predecessor, Davina, did!
"I won't be wearing much black, no. I might go for bright colours, like the suit and shirt I'm wearing now [in sky blue]."
He added: "I'm going to go for purple flares like Cheryl [Cole on The X Factor USA]. I do like colour, though."
Brian will join forces with Emma Willis on the revamp show, with pregnant Emma taking charge of new spin-off Big Brother's Bit On The Side. Brian said about Emma: "We've met several times over the years and she's really nice. She's also a good presenter and a huge fans of the show."
Big Brother starts in mid-August on Channel 5 with a celebrity version.
