Former X Factor star Wagner has become the latest 'star' to be linked to Celebrity Big Brother, starting on Channel 5 next month. The controversial act, who somehow managed to make it to the 8th week of the show, is set to join Jedward, Imogen Thomas and Amy Childs in the house.
According to online sources the Brazilian singer is wanted by C5 bosses have gaining a surprisingly big following on last year's show, knocking out talented singers with his performances of 'She Bangs' and 'Love Shack'.
We imagine that producers are perhaps also hoping the former lion tamer will live up to his infamous controversial and outspoken reputation, reportedly getting involved in everything from arguments, fights and even drug dealing during last year's X Factor.
The list of Wagner's controversies being with slamming judge Cheryl Cole, saying: "She’s just a girl from a council estate who got lucky when somebody gave her a job in showbusiness."
And he said of contestant Cher Lloyd in texts to pals: "Cher is a white kid bhavin as sh was black on stage but sh is white in everything else. She doesn’t have a gr8 voice. Just a white 16 year old singing a black song. [sic]"
The 54-year-old also got into a fight with eventual winner Matt Cardle, with Essex lad Matt raging at Wagner: “You spiteful f****** t***, you’re a f****** joke,” the paper quotes him as saying. “Who the f****** hell do you think you are, calling us bullies? You’re the f****** bully."
Wagner hit back in the press, telling Matt: "You sing like a baby screaming to have its nappy changed."
Another argument saw Wagner 'try to head-butt' one of One Direction, which eventually lead to the wannabe being booted out of the house to live apart from the other contestants - but he still made headlines after diva demands, including demanding a hotel with a swimming pool.
If Wagner is one of this year's housemates this series could be unmissable...
