Former Big Brother's Little Brother presenter Emma Willis is to host an "exciting addition" to this year's Big Brother - a new spin off show called 'Big Brother's Bit On The Side'. The new series, which will take over from Big Brother's Little Brother, will be "scheduled around the main show".
Channel 5 describe the new series as a "vibrant, fast-paced and edgy take on all the developments and news from the house", with Emma Willis at the helm. The brunette beauty will be grilling past housemates, famous super fans and pop culture experts - and really getting to the heart of the stories.
Emma Willis is also a familiar face to Big Brother fans nationwide. She has been associated with the series over a number of years now - and is a huge fan of the show herself.
Emma Willis said: "I’m so happy that Big Brother is back on our screens! I’m such a massive fan of the show so I’m over the moon that I’ve been asked to be a part of it. I can’t wait to get stuck in!"
Emma will be fronting the new series of Big Brother alongside Brian Dowling, who will host the main show on Channel 5.
Jeff Ford, Channel 5 Director of Programmes said: “We are delighted to announce Brian Dowling and Emma Willis as the new presenters of Big Brother 2011.
"As The Ultimate Big Brother Housemate, Brian is the perfect man to be at the helm of Big Brother's new incarnation.
"Emma meanwhile is a consummate professional - as well as being a self confessed superfan. Their combined expertise and first-hand experience of the show will bring an extra dimension to Big Brother when it returns this summer."
Big Brother will start from next month on Channel 5 with a celebrity version of the show.
