A cryptic coin will play a big part in Big Brother 2018, it's been revealed.
Celebrity Big Brother concluded on Monday night but a brand new series of Big Brother kicks off tomorrow (Friday) live at 9PM.
And this year, the game is changing.
In the CBB live final, host Emma Willis introduced details of the new series. She said that this year's Big Brother would be 'the most competitive ever' and us viewers would have more influence over the house more than ever before.
On Bit On The Side, Rylan Clark-Neal revealed more.
He teased a cryptic coin-like token, which Rylan said would form a big part of the new series and change how the game is played.
Meanwhile, a new teaser posted by the official Big Brother Twitter account reads: "One of the most important choices a housemate can make on launch night will have consequences."
"Winning is everything. Only hr most competitive housemates will survive the first week," they added in another clip.
The first twist has already been announced.
Emma shared during the Celebrity Big Brother final on Monday: "One of the new housemates will get an advantage in the game live on launch night, and you will choose who."
A series of clips teased this year's housemates, featuring cryptic VTs. It revealed the housemates' hometowns, jobs and ages alongside a quote from them but not their full identities.
"It's an instant social experiment. Based on those first impressions, who do you want to give the advantage to?" asked Emma.
Viewers could vote for one of the housemates in a free online poll, which has since closed.
The full twist and result of the poll will be revealed alongside the identity of all the housemates during Friday night's launch.
It all kicks off on Friday, September 14 at 9PM on Channel 5.
Alongside the main show, Big Brother’s Bit on the Side returns weeknights with Rylan Clark-Neal.
