Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother will return this summer but it could be their last series.
The current contract between programme makers Endemol and Channel 5 expires at the end of the year.
There have been rumours that the show could be dropped after 18 years, but Rylan says nothing has been confirmed just yet.
In a chat with the Daily Express newspaper, he spoke of the current "contract issues" behind the scenes.
“There’s no secret that Channel 5 only have it up until 2018, but as far as I’m aware there’s talks happening now for the future," Rylan said.
Rylan, who previously won the Celebrity series and now fronts the spin-off show Bit On The Side, added: “I can’t imagine my life without Big Brother.
“So regardless of whatever happens… even if I’ve got to film it in my garden I’ll do it.”
Whatever happens in the future, Rylan assured fans he'd be back to host at least the next two series in the summer.
"I’ll be back, don’t you worry about that!” he declared.
Meanwhile, main show host Emma Willis has said she's is being left in the dark about Big Brother's future.
She told The Sun's Fabulous magazine: “I’m hoping it doesn’t go anywhere, but no one’s told me anything yet. I would love it to make 2020.A nice round number and 20 years would be amazing.
“I do think that if you get Big Brother right, if you keep the essentials of what it is – a psychological experiment of how different people react in an unrealistic situation – it’s something that can keep going.
"I’m a nosy neighbour, so for me it’s perfect television.”
