Ricky Gervais has said he'd love to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house.
However the long-time fan of the Channel 5 series says he'd only take part to wind up the other housemates.
Comedian Ricky, who is behind shows including The Office and Extras, said: “I’d do it if I could go in, wind them all up, steal their fags and then leave before bedtime."
"That would be so much fun," he added to the Daily Star newspaper.
The new and potential last ever series of Celebrity Big Brother will air in the summer.
Goggleboxer Sandra Martin also been linked to the show - again. She had been rumoured for the cast of January's series, and suggested she was axed by show bosses after revealing she was going in.
More rumoured names include TOWIE's Pete Wicks, S Club 7's Paul Cattermole, TOWIE's Bobby Norris and X Factor blabbermouth Sinitta.
As yet, Channel 5 hasn't revealed if it will be renewing the series beyond the end of the year.
Host Emma Willis recently revealed she was being kept in the dark just like the rest of us.
She said: “I’m hoping it doesn’t go anywhere, but no one’s told me anything yet. I would love it to make 2020. A nice round number and 20 years would be amazing.
“I do think that if you get Big Brother right, if you keep the essentials of what it is – a psychological experiment of how different people react in an unrealistic situation – it’s something that can keep going.
"I’m a nosy neighbour, so for me it’s perfect television.”
