Former Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole has ruled out ever going on Celebrity Big Brother.
However the performer says he is up for a stint on I'm A Celebrity, after leaving the BBC One show.
Brendan had been a pro dancer on Strictly Come Dancing the past 14 years but announced his exit earlier this year.
"Doors come along and you open them and you choose to walk a different path."
He went on: "I have never been able to take on any other responsibilities, not even the odd corporate job because your time is devoted to Strictly.
“Now that time is all of a sudden free, all of the things I wanted to do is now available.”
Brendan revealed he had been dropped by Strictly in January.
"They've made an editorial decision not to have me back on the show," he told ITV's Lorraine. "I'm in shock. I got a phone call. I've had 15 incredible series."
Brendan admitted: "I'm disappointed. I've always known this day would come. I'm a very strong character, some don't like that.
"I've never been contracted for more than one year. I still wanted to be part of it. My passion is still very much there."
The BBC said in a statement: "We'd like to thank Brendan Cole for being part of the show since the beginning - winner of the first series - and for the contribution he has made to its success.
"We wish him all the very best for the future."
Strictly returns to BBC One in the autumn.
Meanwhile, the new series of Celebrity Big Brother 2018 will air in the summer.
It could well be the last ever, with Channel 5 yet to confirm if they'll be renewing the show beyond the end of the year.
“I’m hoping it doesn’t go anywhere, but no one’s told me anything yet,” host Emma Willis said this week.
