Celebrity Big Brother housemates react to nomination results

Celebrity Big Brother 2018

The Celebrity Big Brother 2018 housemates have been reacting to the latest nominations.

In this evening's episode, it's nominations for the second time this year.

This week it was the men who had the power in the house, nominating in the Diary Room. Ashley James was immune after winning a special task at the weekend.

As it stands, those up for the axe are John Barnes, Ann Widdecombe, Daniel O’Reilly, Rachel Johnson and Andrew Brady.

Who nominated who will be revealed in tonight's highlights show, but here's a first look at how the house takes the news.

In tonight's episode, Rachel discusses being nominated and her fears over the reasons why. She reveals her husband's advice before she entered the CBB house.

In the garden Ann and Rachel then comment on their nominations, and suggest there is an age divide in the house rather than a gender split.

"We're dinosaurs," concludes Ann.

Meanwhile, John insists he's okay with facing the axe.

"Nothing serious has happened," he says, "I can't discuss votes, I can't discuss who I voted or why but it was for ridiculous reasons.

"And it could be anyone else for a ridiculous reason.

"I can't tell you what so don't feel anyway about how you voted for me."

What housemates don't yet know is a twist awaits.

This week as part of a task to be shown in Thursday night's 9pm show, there will be a nominations twist and then the vote will open.

Emma Willis will return on Friday for a live double eviction as two of the current housemates is given the boot.

Elsewhere, this evening's episode will see Andrew finally find someone to wax him, following his previous request to Ann that ended in an argument.

Meanwhile, Jonny, Daniel, Jess and Ashley all take part in a housemate game that reveals their opinions.

Celebrity Big Brother airs at 9PM this evening on Channel 5.

Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On the Side with Rylan Clark-Neal, featuring guests Ava Vidal, Vanessa Feltz and Antony Costa, follows tonight at 11:05pm on Channel 5.
