It's probably a good thing Big Brother doesn't start until August this year on Channel 5, otherwise Robbie Williams may have to miss the show thanks to his tour with Take That. The singer this week confessed to his addiction with the reality series, and joy over it returning.
Fellow Take That singer Gary Barlow revealed: “I stay at Rob’s house now when I go out to LA and I have a great time. But he’s hooked on reality telly so he only ever wants to talk about Big Brother.”
Robbie himself added: “I love Big Brother and I have to say to the general population – you’ve got it wrong. I know you’ve fallen out of love with it but I don’t want it to go away.”
Big Brother returns on Channel 5 this year in August for a celebrity run, before a 'normal' version of the show airs straight after from September.
Big Brother 2011 auditions start today in Manchester, with hopefuls able to pop along and try out for the reality series.
A Channel 5 exec said: “It is a really exciting time for us as we scour the country to find the next generation of Big Brother housemates.
“My message to anyone tempted is go for it – in a few months you could be a resident in the most famous house in Britain.”
Big Brother 2011 will air on Channel 5 later this year.
