The Celebrity Big Brother 2018 housemates will compete for control of the house on Wednesday.

Ever since launch night the women have been in charge, but their power concluded last night.

Host Emma Willis spoke live to the house, revealing that the women's reign was over - at least for now.

The men and women will now go head to head to try and win control of the house.

It could be the men who take the power or the women may win to stay in the driving seat.

Last night's live show saw the women's current time in charge conclude with live, face to face nominations.

India Willoughby and Jonny Mitchell ended up being put for the axe.

Five housemates - Malika, Amanda, Jess and Maggie and Shane J - won immunity challenges over the first week and so could not be nominated.

Emma went into the house to reveal the live, face to face nominations twist.

Housemates were given pictures of all the eligible housemates. They then had to pick the pictures of the two housemates they wanted to nominate.

In turn, each of the women stood up to reveal their nominations and gave their reasons why.

At the end of the nominations, India had 6 nominations, Jonny had 4 nominations, Ann had 3 nominations, Andrew had 2 nominations and Ginuwine had 1 nomination.

Big Brother then confirmed that India and Jonny would be facing the first eviction of the series.

The one with the fewest votes in the official public phone vote will be given the boot at the end of the week.
