India Willoughby rages at Amanda Barrie in tonight's Celebrity Big Brother in a misgendering row.
In a chat on the sofas yesterday, Amanda misgenders India and referred to her using male pronouns - and not for the first time.
"I've done it again, why do I do that?" Amanda reacted in scenes to air tonight.
"That's twice you've mis-gendered me," complained India. "It's the second time you did it and just chuckled."
"I do apolog-" began Amanda before India cut her off.
She said: "An apology is not enough. I'm sorry. I did explain to you how important it was. That is twice you've done it and you certainly don't misgender someone and then have a chuckle."
Ann Widdecombe defended Amanda: "If it's not deliberate an apology is always enough."
But India snapped: "Let me tell you Ann, only I know how I feel. You don't know how I feel inside.
"I'm telling you as the person concerned that I take great offence at that."
Later on, Amanda tried to approach India in the garden.
"I don't want to talk about it Amanda," insisted India.
Amanda said: "I've come to apologise for a stupid slip up. You know very well that was not intentionally hurtful. I'm very fond of you,
"I like you very much. I can do no more than apologise. But if you don't want to take the apology that's up to you. I am the least likely person ever to have prejudice against anyone.
"And anybody who knows me, knows that. I'm 82 and I made a mistake I am very sorry, goodnight."
India replied: "You're right Amanda, silly me taking offence. Apology not accepted."
