The first male housemate on Celebrity Big Brother 2018 has been confirmed - SPOILERS!
Tuesday evening saw the launch of Celebrity Big Brother's 'Year Of The Woman' as an all female cast entered the house.
Those making up the current line up are former MP Ann Widdecombe, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Malika Haqq, Boris Johnson's sister Rachel Johnson, Ex On The Beach star Jess Impiazzi, actress Amanda Barrie, Made In Chelsea's Ashley James, newsreader India Willoughby and former Detective Constable Maggie Oliver, known for her work investigating the Rochdale grooming scandal.
However they won't be alone for long, with a number of male celebrities joining them from Friday.
The first confirmed male housemate is famous footballer John Barnes.
It was confirmed on tonight's Bit On The Side that John would be joining the house alongside other men on Friday night.
Barnes played for Liverpool and England and currently works as a sports pundit, as well as enjoying a rap music career.
As things stand, women have all the power in the house and will be the only ones allowed to vote in the first round of nominations.
However, when the male celebrities join, the housemates will take part in a series of entertaining tasks and hidden experiments, shifting the power between the sexes.
Channel 5 teased: "These will test their - and our - assumptions, challenge gender stereotypes and reveal fascinating truths about what it is to be a woman - and man - in the 21st century.
"See what happens when women hold the power, as Celebrity Big Brother January 2018 is set to be celebratory, surprising and insightful."
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 airs nightly on Channel 5.
The male celebrities will enter live on Friday night.
Spin-off show Bit On The Side will run weeknights with Rylan Clark-Neal
