Channel 5 has today announced the first officially confirmed Celebrity Big Brother 2018 housemate.
After his dad entered I'm A Celebrity, Boris Johnson's sister has been confirmed for Celebrity Big Brother.
The Foreign Secretary's sister Rachel Johnson will become the latest Johnson to appear on reality TV.
Boris' dad Stanley Johnson recently took part in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here on ITV, where he proved a hit with viewers.
Now Channel 5 has officially confirmed that Rachel will be a part of the new Celebrity Big Brother line up.
According to The Sun newspaper, show bosses hope Rachel be part of a "quite different" line up of celebrity housemates.
An insider said: There are lots of intelligent, cultured people going in, all with strong opinions.
“People have been chosen because they might clash — but hopefully there’ll be heated debate and discussion rather than just screaming and storming out. Rachel is a great signing and fits the bill.”
Channel 5 confirmed this month that Celebrity Big Brother 2018 will begin with an all female cast with male celebrities joining later.
Show bosses say that the women led special series will mark 100 years since women won the right to vote for the very first time.
So far Channel 5 have not confirmed any more names for the cast but teased to keep an eye out.
For now, alongside Rachel, stars tipped for the cast include actress Amanda Barrie, Tattoo Fixers star Paisley Billings and newsreader India Willoughby.
Other rumoured include The Apprentice's Elizabeth McKenna, former MP Charlotte Leslie, former MP for Bristol North West and Goggleboxer Sandra Martin.
Meanwhile, Men rumoured for January's Celebrity Big Brother line up include Love Island's Jonny Mitchell and US R&B star and Pony hitmaker Ginuwine
Celebrity Big Brother 2018 launches on Tuesday January 2 on Channel 5.
