Today marks the beginning of the Daily Star's 'Golden Ticket' competition to win a place in the Big Brother 2011 house. 120 so called 'golden tickets' will be randomly placed in issues of The Daily Star on Saturday and OK magazine from now until June 20.
Finders of the golden tickets will be able to register and skip the normal audition process. You won't be guaranteed a place in the house, but will have the chance to show the producers why they should put you in!
Big Brother 8 winner Brian Belo seemed over the moon by the competition, saying: “The Golden Tickets are great because they give someone the chance to enter who might not necessarily do it otherwise. Someone might never think of applying but if they open their Daily Star and find a Golden Ticket, they’ll think: ‘Well, why not? I’ve got a chance.’
“Big Brother gives a voice to the ordinary man on the street and this is the perfect way to make sure that carries on.”
Meanwhile last year's winner Josie Gibson added: “The Golden Ticket competition is perfect for people who want to enter this year’s BB house. What better way to win your place than in Britain’s biggest BB newspaper? I can’t wait to watch the new show on Channel 5.”
There are also 'silver tickets' in the papers, with other prizes up for grabs if you manage to find one, good luck!
