Gay Mexican transvestite wrestler to become Big Brother's "most controversial contestant ever"

Big Brother (Generic)

A gay Mexican transvestite wrestler (a description sure to cause a heart attack for any Daily Mail reader) has set his sights on becoming Big Brother's "most controversial contestant ever". According to the Daily Star, 'Cassandro' is hoping to join the series this September.

He told the tabloid that he hoped to be a “positive example” to British transvestites - as well as entertaining viewers with his "wild antics" when it returns on Channel 5.

Cassandro, whose real name is Saul Armendariz, told the Daily Star: “I’m coming to England with my group Lucha Futures in June and I’m ready for anything.

“I’m here to set a positive example for everyone. “As a gay man who has had a hard road to be accepted in my profession, I want to inspire and excite the British public. From what I hear Big Brother is the best way to do it.”

A Channel 5 "source" told the newspaper: “It’d certainly make unmissable viewing.”

Auditions for Big Brother 2011 are currently underway online.
