Isabelle Warburton won over Big Brother 2017 viewers tonight for putting herself up for eviction.
In tonight's show, the housemates took part in the next part of The Hunt nominations task. They each had a save button that they could press, only once, in secret to save one housemate but they cannot save themselves. When all buttons had been pressed, anyone not saved would be targeted and at risk of facing the public vote.
Isabelle and Sam were not saved by any of their fellow housemates, but only one of them could be put up for the public vote. Sam and Isabelle had to decide between themselves which of them would face eviction this week and Isabelle volunteered.
Housemates watched on from the Living Room and criticised Sam for not trying to fight Isabelle in her offer of being targeted.
Viewers were equally vocal about the whole thing, praising Isabelle's move.
Last year's Big Brother housemate Ryan Ruckledge tweeted: "Isabelle proper defines the quote don't judge a book by its cover! Look past the hair, tan and makeup and she's so genuine and lovely #bbuk"
@SuperTV247 added: "I can't believe that! Isabelle has sacrificed herself twice is week, by far the most real selfless person. She deserves her place. #bbuk"
And a third posted: "Loving #isabelle more each show 😍 I like to think I don't judge but ashamed to admit I did slightly 🙈 #BigBrother #dontjudgeabookbyitscover"
Some however were a bit disappointed that it meant Sam avoided the axe.
@BBSpy quipped: "Love Isabelle, but WHY WHY WHY did she put herself in the firing line? Sam was THAT close to facing eviction! #BBUK"
After her decision, Isabelle joins Chanelle, Simone and Sue in facing eviction.
Two of the four will leave in Friday night's double eviction show.
However in a twist, it'll be the housemates who decide one of the evictions. After the one housemate with the most votes is given the boot, the group will have to pick who goes between the next two most voted for housemates.
Big Brother 2017 continues nightly on Channel 5.
