There's Something About Josie attracts 700,000 viewers for its first episode


An average of 700,000 viewers watched Big Brother winner Josie Gibson's new reality show on Channel 5 last night, a solid start to the 3 part series on the channel. Meanwhile new E4 reality show 'Made In Chelsea' served up a disappointing figure of just over 500,000 viewers after an extended episode of Glee.

The hit US show recorded an average audience of 1.6 million between 9 and 10:15PM last night. Notably the show beat what parent channel Channel 4 was offering in the same slot, with Gordon's Great Escape averaging 1.2 million viewers.

Overall ITV1 won the 9PM slot with its doc Strangeways doc achieving a very healthy 5.8 million viewers.
